Lori: “I’m Lori. I’m the volunteer and resource coordinator at GRCGED.”![]()
Lidia: “My name is Lidia Fourcans, and my position is outreach and organizational coordinator.”![]()
Student: “How long have you been working here?”![]()
Lori: “About 15 years.”![]()
Lidia: “11 years.”![]()
Student: “Why did you start working here?”![]()
Lori: “I was really excited about, um, getting involved with a feminist organization, and doing that, ![]()
like as my job. That was really cool.”![]()
Lidia: “Because I’m a feminist and I wanted to work at a feminist organization.” ![]()
Student: “And what’s your favourite part about this job?”![]()
Lori: “The volunteers. I really love working with the volunteers here. They’re really dedicated, and I ![]()
get to learn about a lot of different students.” ![]()
Lidia: “Organizing events, workshops, and working with students, faculty members, and community ![]()
organizations.” ![]()

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance where we honour those who’s lives have been lost due to anti-trans violence. We will be having a vigil from 4-6pm in Branion Plaza at the University of Guelph today. Everyone is welcome to attend and honour those whose lives were lost.
