Sexual Violence

GRCGED is here to support students, staff and community members who have experienced sexual violence. We offer walk-in or by-appointment peer support, a safer space on campus, books and other resources, and referrals to other organizations and groups.

The Guelph Resource Centre for Gender Empowerment and Diversity uses an intersectional feminist approach in our work and challenge each other and ourselves to provide a safer environment for lgbt*ts2iqq+, BIpoc, and gender fabulous people. We have cozy couches, empowering art, and a private room overlooking the garden where students can access support, resources, and referrals.

If you would like to make an appointment to come in to talk, please contact

This is the University of Guelph’s Sexual Violence Support and Information page and the Sexual Assault Support Guide that was created in 2014.

This is a beautiful, heartwarming colouring book that the Ryerson Office of Sexual Violence Support and Education created.
