Events

GRCGED runs a host of diverse events and educational workshops throughout the year. We strive to mark notable days that are geared towards social awareness and social change through our events programming. A hint of the remarkable and progressive events we offer include: Take Back the Night (September), Women’s Herstory Month (October), Queer Identities Week (3rd week of October), Trans* Identities Week (November 13th-20th), 16 days to end violence against women (Nov 25th-Dec 10th), Black History Month (February), International Women’s Week (March 8th) and Sexual Assault Awareness Month (May).

We also offer core-training workshops to our collective members, volunteers & community. These include Why Feminism?, Anti-Oppression, Consensus, Gender & Beyond, Peer Support and Radical Disability Politics, to name a few. GRCGED also supports outstanding community based-work in collaboration with various local organizations and activists. Keep in mind that we are always open to forming new alliances. If you are in need of support or would like to partner with us to run an event or workshop, get in touch with us!
